Veronica Addai Mensah is a Research Associate at Toffler Associates and supports a broad range of clients. Prior to joining Toffler, Veronica was a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton where she applied skills in program and project management, data analysis, research, and training and technical assistance to support federal clients. Her support and expertise led clients to better understand issues plaguing society (i.e. the opioid epidemic and transnational organized crime) and ideate solutions. Why did you join Toffler Associates?

I joined Toffler Associates mainly for two reasons. First, I was intrigued by TA’s approach to its work. TA utilizes a “back casting” method to help clients understand, plan, and adapt for the future.

What is your favorite part about TA culture?

My favorite part about TA culture is that everyone knows about each other beyond their roles at the firm and that people are genuinely concerned about the well-being and success of others.

What would you emphasize to a recruit about your role, the firm, or success at client?

I would emphasize that there is a teamwork approach to everything that is done at the firm whether it be client or marketing work. People are constantly sharing ideas and insights, asking questions, collaboratively supporting everything the firm does to ensure its success. A recruit should not be surprised if they’re pulled unto a proposal or a project to offer extra hands, ideas, and thoughts! Teamwork makes the dream work.

How do you spend your free time?

Outside of work I am an active member in my church. When I am not at work or church, I spend my time learning. I love to watch YouTube in order to learn a new skill or I read about what’s happening in this world, especially in sub-Saharan Africa.
