Daniel Backo is an executive leader with demonstrated success in federal government and corporate organizations. He has experience in the areas of strategic planning, program management, business development, finance, human resources, procurement and acquisition, risk management, cyber security and information technology.

Daniel’s professional experience also includes serving as an independent consultant, a Senior Advisor with Mazars USA, a global accounting, auditing, tax, consulting and advisory services firm, Vice President with Hillard Heintze, a security consulting firm based in Chicago, Illinois and a Managing Director with PwC’s U.S. Public Sector Practice.

Additionally, Daniel spent more than six years serving as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service. In this role, Daniel led diverse teams responsible for operational, training and logistics programs focused on the protection and life support of the President and First Family. His career included assignments in the Washington Field Office and Presidential Protection Division.

Daniel graduated from the United States Secret Service Special Agent Academy and the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from King’s College Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Throughout his career, Daniel has earned many accolades. His accomplishments include the United States Secret Service Directors Award and the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Outstanding Service Award.
