Why did you join Toffler Associates?

I am passionate about futures thinking and helping organizations become more resilient and adaptive in the face of a highly dynamic operating environment. I am excited to build on the legacy of Alvin and Heidi Toffler in making our key institutions more future-fluent.

What is your favorite client story?

I had the privilege of supporting a Federal agency’s internal preparations for the 2017 Administration Transition. The Senior Executive leading this effort set an expectation from the get-go: we were to set a new standard for excellence in preparation. Several months after Inauguration Day, the Partnership for Public Service held a debriefing with various leaders involved in Transition efforts and let it be known that our agency had set a gold standard for Transition activities and ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of critical missions.

What is your superpower?

I have always been a voracious reader and an enthusiastic writer. I feel very fortunate to have found a career that allows me to do plenty of both every day.

What excites you about 2030?

We are continuing to see more human-centered ways of working and providing services gain acceptance, prioritizing well-being in context over futile attempts to create one size fits all rules and processes. I am excited to see this paradigm shift in thinking lead to greater individual empowerment and flourishing.

What do you enjoy most about Toffler Associates client work?

It’s enormously rewarding to work on missions of great national importance with a group of talented, committed, and genuine colleagues. Our also clients recognize and appreciate these qualities, which makes for highly engaging, productive, and positive professional environments and relationships.

What is your favorite part about TA culture?

I am consistently impressed by and appreciative of the combination of intellectual curiosity and the motivation toward action that every Toffler Associate exemplifies. Everyone puts in both the headwork and the legwork.

How do you spend your free time?

Reading, watching increasingly obscure sporting events, running increasingly slow times around the Mall, and traveling to new places near and far.
