Elise began her career at the National Academy of Public Administration, a congressionally chartered nonprofit, where she supported a dozen defense and civilian federal agencies in solving their most pressing strategy, governance, and management challenges. Elise attended the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics, and a Spanish minor. As a proud alum, Elise served on the School of Public Policy’s Alumni Board for several years following graduation.
