Kate joined Toffler Associates with an interdisciplinary background in foresight and strategic communications. In the past several years, she has empowered leaders in government, commercial, and nonprofit sectors to understand, plan for, and adapt to transformative change. Her favorite ways to lead foresight projects are to guide organizations through scenario planning exercises, interactive workshops, and in-depth research projects. Before joining the foresight field, Kate worked as a communications professional for 12 years, serving mission-driven organizations dedicated to STEM research, arts accessibility, environmental justice, and higher education. She has a Certificate in Foresight from the University of Houston College of Technology, a Master of Arts in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Global Sustainability from the University of Virginia.
